Incorporating yoga practice into seniors' routine enhance their quality of life. Our chair yoga program is designed for seniors experiencing mobility and balance issues yet looking for gentle movement and healthy lifestyle. Using the chair as support, participants can relieve muscle pain, build strength and balance by practicing the designated yoga sequence.
Chair yoga is an evidence-based program for seniors to optimize their physical and mental wellbeing. Research showed seniors improve body strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. Participants also increase motivation and mental energy to engage in other activities of daily living. We are happy to share the joy of yoga with seniors and be part of your wellness program.
If you would like to incorporate chair yoga into your wellness program at the aged care facility, please contact us and let us tailor make a program that suits your clients. We offer chair yoga sessions for seniors living with dementia, stroke or other physical limitations.
Group session: 45 minutes class for $120
